Fees
We are a private billing practice, and full payment of accounts is required at the time of your consultation.
Fees will apply for all consultations, including Skin Checks, Saturday mornings, and appointments for results.
Our doctors are independent practitioners and determine what you will be billed for your appointment. Any variation in fees is at the doctor's discretion.
Children aged between 0 and 5, Pension Card and Health Care Card holders will be billed a full fee with a reduced gap. Please see the table below for more information.
Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holders are billed the standard practice fee.
We will continue to bulk bull current Department of Veterans Affairs Card holders.
Procedures
Procedures attract an initial out-of-pocket expense, called a Treatment Room Levy (or TRL), to cover costs of the Treatment Room, Nurse, Instruments used and Steralisation. This is calculated on the length of time taken for the procedure and is NOT covered by Medicare.
A second payment is required once the results come back from pathology. This amount varies depending on the results and will be sent to Medicare for a FULL rebate.

Telehealth
All Telehealth appointments incur our usual practice fees, which are charged according to the consultation length and attract a Medicare rebate. Card details will be taken at the time of your booking so that we can process payment automatically after your appointment. Once the payment has been processed, Medicare will automatically reimburse you the rebate amount within 24 hours.
To be eligible for the Medicare rebate on telehealth appointments, you MUST have seen one of our GP's face-to-face in the clinic in the last 12 months. If this criteria is not met, you will be charged a full fee, and no Medicare rebate will be payable to you.

If the appointment is attended on behalf of an absent patient, it will be the responsibility of the person attending the appointment to pay the private fee for the consultation.
Please note that a $50 fee may apply for non-attendance or late cancellation of your appointment (within 2 hours of your consultation time). This is at the doctor's discretion.
A $10 late fee will be applied to accounts that remain unpaid after 3 contact attempts by our reception team.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, please speak to your doctor about the way you are billed.
*Please note if paying via EFT there will be a surcharge fee of up to 1.9% added and will vary depending on the type of card used. This includes all phone consults and online requests. If you do not want the fee added you will need to pay with cash.
